Make Music PHX is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the city.
Let’s Make Music PHX!
Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
This isn’t your typical music festival! Make Music is open to anyone who wants to participate. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical genre — is invited perform in celebration of our collective love of music! Galleries, music venues, and public spaces — sidewalks, parks, front porches! — throughout the city will become stages for local musicians, creating a welcoming experience for all.
Artlink Inc. is excited to be one of the newest members of Make Music Alliance and to bring this city-wide celebration to Phoenix. In 2019 Make Music Day is on June Third Friday, making this an ideal opportunity to foster a closer connection between the performing and visual arts communities.
Make Music PHX is free and open to the public.
