About

Join the worldwide celebration of music on June 21!

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. Make Music Barron is celebrating its first year this June 21st, 2020.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music Barron is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

Stay tuned for performance details such as this summer’s Drum Circle at the Skate Park!

Participate

Get Involved!

Join the music making celebration and  register your venue or performance in March 2020.

Our process is simple and allows you to add details about your venue, or about your performance.

Performers: create your profile by submitting a photo, description of your act, and any relevant website/social media links. Check out the available venues and bid on one that will fit your needs. The venue will confirm your request, and you’re good to go.

Venues: create a profile by submitting your location information and a description of the space. Check out musician profiles, then request a performance, or welcome musicians to bid on your space independently. Confirm the connection and make sure your space is ready to go on June 21st!

Stay tuned for the registration launch mid-March!
