While many say that it’s money that makes the world go ‘round, for Ventrice IV, it’s music. Since recording his first song at the age of eight, Ventrice IV has continued to pursue musicianship with a zeal and maturity that is rare in artists his age. At 28, this Brooklyn-born creative has taken on the roles of a poet, hip-hop artist, producer, and audio engineer. With his clever wordplay, gritty tone and meditations upon topics like inner peace, knowledge, death, and the struggle, he proves that his current home borough of Staten Island has just as much talent as all the others.
Ventrice IV is motivated, not by the fame and the fortune that most artists in the game pursue, but by the prospect of affecting change and depositing positive energy into the universe. To Ventrice IV, the biggest reward comes from having his voice heard, he explains, “ From an early age I knew I wanted to be performing in front of thousands of screaming people singing along and connecting to the music I’ve made.” And with this vision in mind, Ventrice IV continues to make his hustle about the love of music as he focuses on his game and encourages others to do the same.
