Mass Appeal, part of Make Music Day, brings together thousands of musicians - of all levels and ages - to make music in large, single-instrument groups. The following free events, open to all, will take place on June 21, 2019.
Interested in learning how to play the guitar or would you like to brush up on your guitar skills with a private mini-lesson? Three experienced guitar teachers will be available to teach small group or private lessons to guitar players of all abilities and folks who’ve never picked up a guitar. Free song books provided by Martin Guitars while supplies last.
How can you participate? Ten acoustic guitars will be available to play during the lessons. You are welcome to bring your own guitar or try out one of the guitars generously donated by the Charter Oak Cultural Center. Lessons are free and open to all ages and abilities.
