Mass Appeal, part of Make Music Day, brings together thousands of musicians - of all levels and ages - to make music in large, single-instrument groups. The following free events, open to all, will take place on June 21, 2021.
Make Music Hartford Hip Hop Cypher
MCs and beatboxers are invited to freestyle, one after the other, without interruption. This is a place to collaborate, share energy and create on-the-spot rhymes and flows. Ashley Floyd, artist and host of Lyrics in da V will host the cypher in Heaven Skate Park, home of Corey Pane’s Nipsey Hussle mural.
How can you participate? MCs, beatboxers, Bboys and Bgirls are invited to be a part of the cypher. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate. All positive vibes.
