Jazz Foundation of America

The Jazz Foundation of America (JFA) has the mission to save jazz and blues music “one musician at a time” by providing financial, medical, housing, and legal assistance — as well as performance opportunities — to musicians who have paid their dues and now find themselves in need.

This year the JFA is sponsoring Make Music gigs in eight cities, bringing more free, high-quality jazz to the public on June 21 and giving performance opportunities to over a dozen living jazz legends.
