 Make Music Woodbury!

Make Music Woodbury is a part of the international Make Music Day movement which brings free, community-wide, outdoor musical celebrations to hundreds of cities worldwide! Every year, the celebration is held on June 21, the summer solstice, in more than 800 communities around the world. Make Music Woodbury events are being coordinated by WOW (What’s on in Woodbury). Events include a community open mic event at North Green from 11 am-3 pm, drop-in “drum bucket” sessions on the Library Lawn, and a “welcome summer” concert at Hollow Park, followed by a sunset lantern sail on Hollow Pond.  Business owners and residents are also invited to open their own lawns and porches for impromptu performances.

This is Woodbury’s first year celebrating Make Music Day.  Help make it a success; sign up to be a performer, attend the events, offer  your porch or front lawn as a performance space.  All events are FREE; come have some fun making music and enjoying the first day of summer.
