Make Music Brasil began as a week-long initiative in June, giving free music lessons to people of all ages around the country, sponsored by the Brazilian music industry organization Anafima. In 2017, the event shifted its focus to June 21, with a wider variety of musical events – and then last year it suddenly took off.
In the midst of the pandemic, Make Music Brasil 2020 included over 1,000 virtual and “balcony” events nationwide! This year, Make Music Brasil will continue in the virtual format, and with an incredible number of artists.
