Akua Taylor + VORTXMATH

Akua Taylor is an 80’s baby with a love for hip-hop and r&b, from Milwaukee, WI and influenced by groups like Arrested Development. A graduate of Fisk University and Savannah College of Art and Design, Akua has over 20 years of arts and arts education experience, creating theatrical and musical experiences that celebrate cultural identity and African heritage. Productions that uplift, encourage and inspire the human spirit include songs, music videos, plays, and performing arts coaching. Nationally she's performed with several corporate bands and internationally she’s toured the Bahamas, Spain and Ghana with internet radio nods from England and Iceland.
