Max
Max found two sticks, and started beating on objects. Inspired by his father's kitchen sink finger-beats rapped out 'con brio', rhythm penetrated his subconscious from an early age. Despite the ongoing challenge finding suitable locations to exert his zest for the percussive arts, and many non-plussed neighbors, he managed to teach himself along playing in a smattering of no-name bands over the years. Throughout, Max lugged his drums to outdoor locations, preferably in nature, to play his beloved instrument where it was meant to sing. He dubbed it, "Drums in the Wild" and documented with photos. Today, Max is rekindling his affair with membranophones and starting a few projects in his new home in the foothills, including a reggae ensemble. His last group was a three-piece heavy rock outfit entitled "Fuz Lip".
