Appalachia Mama
Appalachia Mama hails from the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia and is an Appalachian storyteller, folk singer and musician. She sings and plays a lot of the folk, mountain and country style songs along with country gospel and invites her audience to join in her sing-a-longs. Mostly a singer, storyteller and guitar player who beats a drum with her foot pedal; sometimes, she, also, pulls out her Harmonica, Banjo or Banjolele, Dulcimer and Native American Flute to add more variety to her show. A light-hearted, humorous woman, Appalachia Mama brings a lot of joy to her listeners wih her sing-a-longs, stories and fun. Warm, wacky and wise, she's truly an American original.
