Joyce Renee Walker

Joyce Renee Walker was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in Magnolia, Arkansas. By the age of 5 years old, Joyce began taking formal piano lessons. Since that time Joyce Renee has managed to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication while continuing to develop and pursue her passion as a musician. She is the renown pianist, bandleader, composer and arranger of various genres of music. Some of her key accomplishments are: · 5+ consecutive years as pianist for Mariano’s / Kroger Company · Pre-Covid-19 performed at 80+ Hospitals and Senior Centers · Recipient of the AARP/Crain Chicago Business 50@ 50+ Award & · @x nominated in Best Band Category -- Chicago Music Awards · Performed in festivals – Glenwood Mobile Arts Festival, Downtown Evanston, Chicago Park District Summer Faire, and the Mount Prospect Public Library Black History Event.
