Giulio Brouzet

Born and based in Milano, Giulio became obsessed with jazz and blues after years of listening to his parents old records. Fascinated by the harmonica, at 16 Giulio began teaching himself by listening to the legendary Sonny Boy Williams II, Little Water, and James Cotton. Always a fan of jazz, in 1997, Giulio branched into studying the chromatic harmonica. Around that same time, he lived in Garibaldi, an artistic co-op in MIlan which exposed him to a variety of music including ska, dub, rock, and hard core punk. “This was a very interesting period of my life as a musician. And the effects were lasting on my skills.” He moved to Genoa, in which he got music-therapy degree and started studying jazz with well known guitar player Marco Tindiglia. He then came back to Milan, he studied in jazz school “Civici Corsi Jazz” of Milan, studying and playing with, among the others, Franco Cerri, Marco Vaggi, Civica Jazz Band, Giulio Visibelli, (jazz degree 2008)
