Preston Charles III plays violin in a unique way, in a style of being outside of the classical sense, and pushing the boundaries of the violin as solo instrument in different genres. With the support of an amplifier, loop pedal, and other effects. The pedals allow his violin to function as bass, mandolin, banjo, viola etc.; and those sounds and some percussion gets layered in tracks also known as loops, all the while the violin can solo over or jam with the live track created. His genres range from classical to contemporary, highly immersive and emotional music, and no lyrics, its all instrumental. He can change his dynamics to be a frontline performer or ambient, and currently plays out fairly regularly in the SW Ohio and NKY regions.
