How can I participate?

Make Music Cincinnati is a free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year.

Artists and venues for the event are paired through our matchmaking site. It’s fancy. It takes into account all sorts of preferences like available times, music genre, whether your set requires power and so on. This year we have MANY awesome venues to choose from, thanks to our awesome sponsors. Sign up today to check out what venues are available!

Simply Login/Register to create a matchmaking account, and then create an artist/venue profile.

The deadline for sign ups this year is June 18!

Host a MASS APPEAL audience participation event

Got something share with a crowd?  From jam sessions to DJ lessons, samba workshops to a pop-up back-up band. Get in touch at

When we say, Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone, we really mean it. And for 2021 we’re putting together a number of special events to draw even greater numbers of musicians and appreciators into the fun. You’ll be able to join in on mass appeal shows designed to bring together dozens — no, hundreds — of artists to perform pre-selected pieces together.

Venues all over town hosted Mass Appeals which offered many chances for audience members participation including breakdancing, a public piano at, jam sessions, sing alongs and kids’ open mic!
