Make Music Edmonton is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the city.
Join Dominelli Music in MAKE MUSIC DAY on June 21, 2018! This is an international movement to inspire everyone around the world to create and experience MUSIC for FREE! Beginner or expert, in your backyard or in a professional venue, on pots and pans or on a fancy guitar, it doesn’t matter how or where – just MAKE MUSIC. All you need to do to participate is sign up, and on June 21, 2018, play some music (it can be 10 seconds or 5 hours!) and then share your performance on our Facebook or Instagram pages. OR you can visit our online schedule to see a list of all of the performances happing in Edmonton, and attend one and share in the MAKE MUSIC DAY experience. Then feel all the fuzzy goodness knowing that you joined 750 cities in the world in making lots of noise on June 21, 2018. Let’s get loud Edmonton!
When we say, Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone, we really mean it. And this year we’ve put together multiple special events to draw even greater numbers of musicians and appreciators into the fun.
How to Participate
This event is an all-ages, all-inclusive celebration of music. Whether you’re in a band, a solo artist, a child, a senior, a saxophonist or a thereminist, there’s a spot for you to perform! As for venues, a Make Music Huntsville venue can be anywhere. For as little as 15 minutes turn your porch, the sidewalk in front of your retail space, business or coffee shop into a venue for musicians to perform. We would love for you to take part!
