Make Music
El Paso

This year marks Make Music Day’s 3rd celebration in El Paso! Get involved for the 2018 festival! It is open to anyone who would like to participate – any age, any experience level, any musical interest. We will be joining over 730 cities around the world to celebrate Make Music Day.

Let’s Make Music El Paso!

Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 700 cities in 120 countries.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

It’s easy to get involved!

Click here to access the “match-making” service and follow these instructions:

Performers: create your profile by submitting a photo, description of your act, and any relevant website/social media links. Check out the available venues and bid on one that will fit your needs. The venue will confirm your request, and you’re good to go.

Venues: create a profile by submitting your location information and a description of the space. Peruse the musician profiles to request a performance, or welcome musicians to bid on your space independently. Confirm the connection and make sure your space is ready to go on June 21st!

Volunteers:  We are looking for musically-minded, creative, outgoing, and fun-loving people to join our team!  If you’d like to volunteer for our city’s citywide Make Music Day celebration,  email us at and we’ll put your skills to good use.
