Melissa Cherie
Melissa Cherie is an American singer-songwriter with a band. Native to Bergen County, she is known for her delicate vocals, finger-picked guitar style, and dynamic indie-rock songwriting. Melissa is originally a classically trained pianist, picking up guitar in college, where she released "Seasons", an EP of self-made recordings, in 2018. Her most recent release, "No Made Promises", is a spell-binding single about love after loss, and was recorded at Big & Tall Recording in Wood-Ridge, NJ. Currently, Melissa and band are active in the tri-state area music scene, playing a run of 14 shows in summer 2021. Her debut album, The Hearth, will be released in early fall of this year.
