Billy Ruegger
Once you have heard singer and guitarist Billy Ruegger live, it’s easy to see why he is quickly establishing himself as a must hear performer in his home state of Connecticut. It is not just his command of the guitar, for which he earned his undergraduate degree from the New School for Jazz and the opportunity to be guitarist of nationally touring reggae group Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads. Nor is it his warm voice reminiscent of James Taylor’s. It is that in each and every performance, Billy immerses himself in the music so completely that listeners can’t help but be taken in with him.
