First Church is the oldest institution in Fairfield, founded 1639. Our 1890 historic sanctuary houses a Steinway piano and one of the region's finest pipe organs (Klais, 2010). In addition to our choirs and Music in the Meetinghouse series, many community performing groups find a home here.
