About

Make Music Day-Federal Way is a celebration on the first day of summer.
All kinds of people – from seasoned professionals to those who have never played or sung before – participate in this day full of performing, teaching, learning, jamming and enjoying music in diverse musical genres!

Make Music Day is a community tradition for all ages that is celebrated in over 800 cities across 120 countries. June 21st, 2023, a Wednesday, will be the fifth Make Music Day for the City of Federal Way, which has more than 100k residents.

Anyone can host, perform, teach, lead or come to learn, play or listen.
Everyone can jump into the fun, making spontaneous music, calling together friends, jamming on street corners….which is how all this began back in France in 1982!! Celebrate the first day of summer with music and community!!! Bring a friend!
