The association Etoile du Sud, in partnership with the French Institute of Côte d'Ivoire, the City of Treichville, and the German Embassy, organizes Fête de la Musique from noon to midnight, with a concert route organized on Avenue 14 in Treichville. The inhabitants of the Appolo district, mobilized for the occasion, welcome the public in a musical and friendly atmosphere: stages in the courtyards of residents, concerts and entertainment in the street, with 120 artists present, including Kajeem, Jarafro, the Orchestra of Treichville, Cody Jazz, Jazz 6, the orchestra of the armed forces of Côte d'Ivoire, the choir Les Petits Cœurs des Anges and many others.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, the Ivorian artists Kajeem and Jarafro will perform emblematic titles of French singers. Kajeem is a charismatic and ubiquitous artist of the Ivorian scene. An activist artist, he expresses in French, English, Spanish and in his mother tongue the heartbreak of his country and the evils of our society. He marvelously combines the flavor of Afro-reggae with the dialectic of rap. Jarafro is an Ivorian musical formation, created in 2002 under the initiative of Pouegnan Keassa Plujamais Obed alias Le Prophète (Band leader). Together, they have developed an authentic style, called Bonijazz, an expression taken from the Gouro (Ivorian dialect), which means "my jazz". Jarafro's music mixes reggae, jazz, and afropop with African sounds.
