Bensen Kwan
Bensen Kwan, who has studied percussion since the age of 12, will lead a rehearsal and performance of Flowerpot Music. Flowerpot Music, written by celebrated composer Elliot Cole and directed by percussionist Peter Ferry, is a composition for an unlikely but beautiful percussion instrument – the flowerpot! The Houston Botanic Garden is one of many public spaces around the world where a group will assemble on June 21, with safe social distance, to learn and then premiere Flowerpot Music, specially composed for Make Music Day.
