Charlie Perez & The Trade are Houston’s local long-time pioneers of the late-night Latin jazz jam session. Best known for creating an electric environment where musicians could share and express themselves though improvisation. Their performances both root you in tradition and rocket you into the future of the local Latin jazz sound. The Trade features Chilean-born pianist Dr. Jose-Miguel Yamal; Mexican-born bassist Anthony McKinney; and former Al Jarreau guitarist John Calderon.
