Kerry Melonson

Kerry Melonson is a lifelong Houston-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music entrepreneur, and fine artist. A well-known veteran of the Houston indie & local music scene, recognized for his eclectic musical styles and creative risk-taking. Melonson's primary creative projects and artistic endeavors include: Satin Hooks: His long-running rock band for which he is perhaps best known. Kerry’s Country Klassics: A solo venture where he performs a vast repertoire of classic country covers, pop, and original songs at events for country music lovers of all backgrounds. Concrète Mélange: An experimental project born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, where he creates sample-based electronic music using highly altered bits of audio from random, obscure recordings. Visual Fine Art: Beyond music, he is a physical artist who creates, showcases, and sells abstract paintings, drawings, and sculptures
