LIVESTREAMED Concert at the Top of the Tower feat. Desmond Mason

Featuring Desmond Mason in collaboration with the American Jazz Museum. Desmond is a UMKC graduate, regular musician at Kansas City Jazz clubs, a charting music producer, and a member of the Historic Mutual Musicians Foundation. Since 1980, Casio has released a revolutionary series of piano keyboards in every conceivable shape, size, and sound. The new, highly portable CT-S200 keyboard (weighing less than 8 pounds) allows people to bring music to their life no matter where they are – and for Make Music Day, they will! Casio is providing 25 keyboards for Make Music Day performances in far-flung locations around the country. In Kansas City, we will have a performance at the top of the Liberty Memorial Tower. The Tower rises 217 feet above the main courtyard and 268 feet above the North Lawn. The cylindrical tower is 36 feet in diameter at its base, tapering to 28 feet at the top. On June 21, follow the hashtag #casiomusicgearMMD to see all of these performances, from everywhere.
