EleveN2wenty2 is a professional vocalist trio based in Kansas City, Missouri. The group consists of a soprano (Kai Manning), alto (JaNay Adgers) and Tenor (Darius Sheppard). The members of EleveN2wenty2 came together in 2011 when their church formed a youth praise team. In 2018, after a brief period of not singing together due to their pursuits of college degrees and starting careers, the group reunited to provide background vocals for gospel artist Chrystal Rucker. The booming inquiries began to pour in. JaNay, Kai and Darius realized that there aren’t many groups that specialize in background vocals so they decided to officially brand themselves. EleveN2wenty2 was born. Though EleveN2wenty2 still provides BGVs services, they have stepped to the forefront and are exploring their own artistry as featured artists by headlining their own shows and releasing original music!
