Bands Undercover with Howard Mahan
Howard Mahan is a guitarist with a diverse background in blues, rock, jazz, and roots music who is quickly making a name for himself on the KC Blues-Rock scene as an outstanding musician. A founding member of Mahan the Band, he fronts this regional blues/rock almost jam-band that performs a 50/50 mix of original music and re-crafted cover songs. In 2019, the band released an EP titled First Time around which is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and more for download and streaming. Relatively new to the KC music scene, Howard Mahan has been working with many of the local musicians of different genres besides branching out on a national level to perform with Grammy-nominated artist, Randy McAllister. He brings his own style of high-energy performance no matter what the situation or the stage.
