The Barton Street Band

The Barton Street Band features 14 year-old twins, Arlo and Ira Good. Supported by their father on bass, the band has been performing for over 8 years at various venues including the Culture House, The Kansas City Zoo, The Merriam Community Center, and the Future Stages Festival at the Kauffman Center of Performing Arts. Featured on 90.9’s EightOneSixty radio show, the band is quickly becoming recognized in the Kansas City music scene. Guitarist and vocalist, Arlo Good, is no stranger to the stage. He performed in the Lyric Opera’s production of Sound of Music, in KC Rep's "A Christmas Carol" and The New Theatre's "Freaky Friday". Additionally, Arlo plays bass guitar in the Shawnee Mission South Jazz Band. Ira Good performs on drums, piano, and steel guitar while also providing backing vocals. A natural musician, Ira enjoys sound editing and recording. He is proud to be a drummer in the Shawnee Mission South Jazz Band.
