The Magic of Rhythm: Making and Playing Rhythm Band Instruments
THE MAGIC OF RHYTHM: MAKING AND PLAYING RHYTHM BAND INSTRUMENTS. Bring the family for a hands-on experience that includes creating your own instruments using upcycled items, learning to play common rhythm instruments and playing music in the park. We’ll talk about the “Voyage of the Drum” and its role in various cultures and how music has and is an important of various cultures. This event will be led by experienced musicians and is open to all ages and no experience is necessary. Instruments were supplied by Rhythm Band, an organization dedicated to being a part of music education in classrooms around the world.
