Elise Del Vecchio
Elise’s journey to the blues led her through a landscape of classic, prog, and glam rock. From the plastic wasteland that was L.A. in the 1980s to the psychedelic pagan drum circles of the East; from the stone sentinels of Pennsylvania to the crop carvings of Kansas, Elise has brought her wide-hearted perception and childlike love of all nature to Kansas City. Her sound has been compared to Joan Baez and Susan Tedeschi, a little Bonnie Raitt, a little Johnny Winter and a dash of Stevie Ray Vaughan for good measure. She draws her inspiration from the deep feelings elicted by her travels and the experiences of the people she’s met. An incomparable storyteller, she weaves rich garments of real-life shot through with sparkling threads of the mythic. Her songs reach to an emotionally unifying place while exploring the edges of existence.
