Teresa Posey Miller, Meribeth and Claudia Risebig, and Ann Posey
We are all professional musicians in the KC area. We will be performing Sonata in E Flat for two oboes by Handel with Harpsichord (Ann Posey). and bassoon (Claudia Risebig) Handel was a prolific composer during the Baroque era (1600s to 1700s). This sonata is a gorgeous yummy delight and we hope you will come "taste" it with us. Meribeth Risebig is Principal Oboist of the Northland Symphony and St. Joseph Symphony, is an active free-lancer in the Kansas City area, and has played regularly in the Starlight Theater Orchestra. She is also a private oboe instructor. Claudia Risebig is a member of the Suzuki Associations of the Americas and Heart of America Suzuki Association, and is sanctioned to teach through Vol. 4 Suzuki piano. Teresa Posey Miller studied oboe at Northwestern University. She currently plays in the Northland Symphony and Liberty Symphony. Ann Posey served as church organist at 2bc for 40 years and teaches organ and piano in Liberty.
