Mass Appeal, part of Make Music Day, brings together thousands of musicians - of all levels and ages - to make music in large, single-instrument groups. The following free events, open to all, will take place on June 21, 2021.
Make Music Hartford Bucket Drumming Lessons
Learn basic rhythm patterns and make music with buckets. Drummers Kirk Woodard and Jimmy Gavagan will lead lessons in different locations around the city that day.
How can you participate? Drumsticks and buckets will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own to make the group bigger. Anyone is welcome to participate. No drumming or musical experience necessary!
