Jenny Haniver is a project based in San Francisco, inspired above all else by fear and sorrows that intertwine with scenes of simple joy. The music's singer-songwriter roots are represented by classic country instrumentation that is electrified and given psychedelic grit, at times reaching heights of frenetic noise, and from this comes a sound that we lovingly dub "chaos folk." In the San Francisco scene, we place utmost importance in utilizing our DIY background to sow compassion and community within our city and abroad. As we place our hearts into our music, we hope it makes the world a more honest and loving place.
