In the world of classical music, the 3 B’s have historically stood for Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. For guitar playing singer songwriter Mark Place his musical journey included a different set of 3 B’s: The Beatles, Bob Marley, and Bob Dylan. In his career he has been managed and produced by famed Beatles publisher Dick James, worked with Bob Marley manager and producer Danny Sims, and as a Columbia Records recording artist was under the direction and tutelage of Bob Dylan mentor and producer Don DeVito. Many of Mark’s songs include autobiographical themes as well as universal observations and messages. A compendium of stories and emotions tied together in a stylistic whole that reveals years of thought and expression. Mark Place has recently released a new EP entitled “The Swan” which includes the songs “Save the Blues”, “Passion”, “The Weeds”, and “Eyes of Need”.
