Emily McNally
Featured as a Make Music Day Champion, queer independent singer/songwriter Emily McNally is creating the soundtrack for the lovelorn and anxious generation of young people with their genre-fluid, DIY bedroom pop music. With vulnerable lyricism, Emily confronts her own naivete and yearning in layers of lush vocals. A lifelong musician and writer, Emily has been gigging since first moving to the city in 2014. Notable venues include Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene's Grocery, Pianos, The Bitter End, Muchmore's, and The West End Lounge. When performing live, Emily expresses infectious emotion and loves a good singalong. They played various venues for MMNY in 2019 and 2021 and are over the moon to return in 2022. You can find all of their original songs and collaborations with producers on any streaming site.
