Tony Smith
Tony is an accomplished saxophonist with over 40 years of experience bringing pleasure to his listeners. Tony has released four solo instrumental projects while sharing the stage with artists such as Tramaine Hawkins, Vickie Winans, Shirley Caesar, Hezekiah Walker, Deitrick Haddon and J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise amongst many other groups. Tony has been spotlighted on several television shows including appearing twice on Bobby Jones Gospel and The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors. He travels extensively nationally and internationally to share his music ministry. Tony gives back to the community by playing at schools and senior citizen centers in the NYC Metro area. He taught music at the Roberta Flack School of Music in the Bronx for 3 years. For 20 years this talented artist hosted his own gospel jazz radio show on WFDU 89.1FM in Teaneck, New Jersey and for the 4 years hosted 2 additional programs; an old school Soul, R&B and Motown show at the same station.
