Renegade Rew & Who Crew
The quarantine in New York City birthed a brillant byproduct of the pandemic. NYC’s Underground Queen of Rock-n-Roll, Rew Starr was approached to resume her long-standing live show, The Rew and Who Show, in a virtual medium. Rew teamed up with ‘Hot Indie Media’ to build and maintain connections during the isolation: ‘Renegade Rew & Who Pandemic Party. This open-mic style experience via Zoom highlights musicians and artists internationally who seek a loving community to share their music, poetry, and more. Keeping music and spoken word alive, musicians and their fans have met new friends from Portugal, United Kingdom, Canada and across the United States. A vibrant community of post-pandemic “Renegades” has formed, promoting songwriting, performance and friendships during this unique time of our lives.
