Drummers Can Achieve

Why did that rat just run away with my pizza? Why did Nosferatu get such a bad rap? Where did all the music venues and artists go? These are some of the questions posed by singer-songwriter Ben Reynolds in the band Drummers Can Achieve. After decades of playing drums for other peoples' music, he broke his percussive shackles and started writing tongue-in-cheek songs about the absurdity that is city living, making art, & life. With indie pop influences borrowing from Mountain Goats, Pedro the Lion, The Dismemberment Plan, Ted Leo, Mitch Hedberg, Stanley Kubrick, Drummers Can Achieve is a question, a statement, the cleansing rain and the omnipresent trash. Reynolds' co-conspirators are a "who's-who" of Brooklyn indie multi-instrumentalist talent: Justin Gonzales (Oracle Room, Passenger Peru) Gavin Dunaway (Libel, Jaguar Club, Art of Shooting) Carlo Menchillo (The Planes, MurderTag, BK Drum Collective) Come check us out with our friends Goldstreets! A good time will be had by all.
