Who is Sukari: Sukari defined means sweet sugar from Nigeria. To me Sukari is the essence of a woman, sweet but strong. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Long Island by foster parents, I have always sang. A young mother and on my own since the age of 18. Starting at age 9 in the school’s local choir, the evolution of the artist, Sukari began. Finding her sound, embracing her charisma and personality Sukari creates music full of soul and R&B flavor. As a model and actress she owns each role she plays. As a host she owns the red carpet at any event she is a part of. Sukari the entrepreneur has created her own entertainment company and is helping others to reach their dreams.
