Sunday Gravy

Steph Turci (vocals) and Jared Auslander (guitar) formed the indie band Sunday Gravy after meeting on a Facebook group in 2016. They instantly clicked when they realized they both pulled inspiration from genres such as classic rock, soul, funk, and indie music. Soon after, they were joined by Stefan Haerle (sax) and Lucas Ebeling (drums), the group lights up NYC stages like The Bitter End, The Mercury Lounge, and Rockwood Music Hall (among others) with their original sound, absolutely fire sax improvisations, and updated covers of classic soul tunes. Sunday Gravy's musical goal is to blend highly textured music (which stems from Jared, Stefan, and Lucas' jazz background) with singable melodies and to then create sensational performances in which the audience is encouraged to be a part of the music. As a result of their jazz influence, Sunday Gravy also enjoys adding improvisation to their performances which means that every Sunday Gravy performance is a unique experience.
