Arizona

Fullerton: The Day of Music Fullerton in it’s 9th year is gearing up for another fantastic June 21. 22 venues in Fullerton’s historic downtown district and few other venues will host almost 80 musical acts! The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation whose mission is to restore and open the Fox Fullerton theatre is producing the event with a great group of volunteers. Los Angeles: The Italian Cultural Institute is organizing a concert with award-winning Italian singer and songwriter Patrizia Laquidara, who will dive into her repertoire, recounting the origins and the history of Italian popular music. Murphys: Make Music Day will be celebrated at the Murphys Irish Pub beginning at 3pm and continues at the Music Barn at Val du Vino Winery and Vineyards from 7pm until the wee hours. Visit their website for more information.

Las Cruces: The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will host this year’s Make Music Day concert at Young Park (1905 E. Nevada Ave.) from 4–8pm, featuring local bands The Double A Batteries, Stoney Blue Fish, and Afición Norteña.

Silver City: Swing by Gough Park to weave sounds and send intentions of peace to the world (more information). Following, head to The Commons for a community sing-along (more information)! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy this worldwide musical celebration for the first day of summer.
