David Czech

I’m a guitarist/bassist/vocalist with recording/performance experience in all music styles. My main interest lies in Soul, Blues, R&B, Swing, and Jazz. I’ve worked as recording/live session bassist and guitarist for various acts and have been lucky to sit in with talent such as: Bobby Messano (Steve Winwood) and Shawn Mullins. Early on l played with a Progressive Rock band that was selected as one of the top ten Chicago bands by WKQX for their Hometown project. The band also performed as part of WLUP’s three day “Loopfest” in Chicago. My taste for Soul, R&B and Jazz later led me to a Chicago based Street Corner Blue, a horn section based, R&B powerhouse, which performed at festivals around the country opening for international acts such as Jefferson Starship and Gov’t Mule. Since recently moving to Galena Il, I have been honing my skills as a solo artist covering Jazz, Soul, and R&B standards and a few originals.
