"Harmonica" George Douglas
"Harmonica" George Douglas will lead a workshop/lesson/playalong for Make Music Day Raleigh! Hohner Harmonicas will provide a free harmonica for all participants while supplies last! I have been playing harmonica since my Dad taught me when I was a kid. I have played much more in the past 10 years as I play regularly with my friends in the Raleigh Uke Jam. The harmonica is a fun instrument that you can learn to play quickly but spend a lifetime improving your skills and enjoying it more every day. You can play all types of music from pop to blues, folk to country and just about any other type of music you like to hear. It's also very portable so you can play tunes anywhere. I am eager to introduce the harmonica to people who have never played before, but also to learn from more advanced players who can teach me more advanced playing techniques. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, please join me for the great harmonica get together on Make Music Day Raleigh, June 21, 2023!
