But now you’re invited to MAKE SOME NOISE about the poetry you’ll hear at the Bang-A-Can Poetry Slam! Join Ridgefield Poet Laureate Barb Jennes and a host of sure-to-please poets who’ll compete for your approval, expressed by banging on a can, a drum, a chair arm, a tree trunk—whatever object you have on hand at this Make Music Day Celebration! We’ll supply the drumsticks and the poetry—you supply the rhythm and joy. P.S. Poets of all ages are invited to read a family-friendly poem in front of our appreciative, supportive audience.
