Kathleen Theisen

Kathleen Theisen, pianist/soprano/organist/composer, is Interim Director of Music at FCC and a core music teacher in the Darien Public Schools. Theisen is pianist with Ridgefield Symphony and has performed as a pianist or singer with many orchestras and oratorio societies in the tri-state region. She made her debut with the Metropolitan Opera in 2003 as an extra chorister in Benvenuto Cellini. Theisen performs frequently as a classical and jazz pianist. She will be performing a variety of music on today's program - ranging from music of Mozart and Haydn to Broadway showtunes, jazz standards, and other favorites.
