Michael Shofi

Michael Shofi is a classically trained vocalist and a self-trained guitarist originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut. Bouncing around all areas of the music industry, Michael identifies as a singer/songwriter, film composer, arranger/orchestrator, producer, and a full-time manager. Most recently, he attended the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Project, released a self-produced album “Life’s Not Fair, Kid”, had his song “Teenage Tragedy” performed at an NYC songwriting showcase, and scored the short films “Protector” and “Fanged”. He most commonly writes folk, indie rock, and acoustic-driven music, but loves exploring all genres. Currently, Michael works as manager of music production at a global entertainment company, working with professional musicians all over the world. He also volunteers for Hear Your Song- an organization that empowers children and teens with serious illnesses and complex health needs to make their voices heard through collaborative songwriting.
