Make Music San José

Bay Area Showcase Chorus

Bay Area Showcase Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is an award-winning a cappella chorus comprised of around 50 women of all ages, vocal ranges, and musical backgrounds. Our music varies from traditional barbershop favorites to contemporary songs, all arranged in close 4-part harmony. In addition to performing in the community, we also compete with other Sweet Adelines choruses in regional and international competitions. Our most recent International competition was September 2019 in New Orleans, where we placed 14th in the world. Our mission is to educate and empower women to excel in singing 4-part harmony in the barbershop style.
