Douglas Forman
Doug is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist with a smooth, soulful, latin-tinged style. Varied influences from his youth include Carlos Santana, George Benson, Al Dimeola, Stevie Wonder, Jose Feliciano and Bob Marley. In the 1980's, while attending SJSU, Doug played in nightclubs with various Latin, R&B and Country Bands in the Bay Area. He also toured with groups associated with Daniel and Luis Valdez's Theatro Campesino (producers of Zoot Suit and La Bamba) For the last 15 years, Doug has been raising a family in the Rose Garden working for Nasa and Apple. During this time, he has composed a variety of catchy songs reflecting the amazing amusement of life. He would love to share some of these songs as well as some familiar standards with an audience.
