Rosemarie Austin
Rosemarie Austin grew up with a healthy heaping of influencing songwriters at the Kerrville Folk Festival. Traditional blues and country were heard from a small age through her parents speakers whether at home or on the road. After moving to California in 2002, she earned an associates degree in music at Cabrillo College which included some traditional music theory, jazz theory/improvisation, as well as performing classes for saxophone and voice. The bands she has been a part of include HipCity Cruz, RJR & Company, A Simple Shade of Blue, and she has played as a duo with Brad Daniels. She is currently performing children's concerts around the Bay Area and producing music videos for children.
